Weekly Faves

Happy Friday everyone!

Another week has flown by and so it’s time once again for my Friday Faves!  This week has been busy as usual and we are now in full swing in our summer schedule which includes lots of gymnastics, swimming and soccer.

We’ve snuck into the new house a few times and it’s progressing so quickly.  I can’t wait to share it with all of you.  It’s completely surpassing my expectations!

We’ve also been a little under the weather fighting off various forms of Fifth’s Disease.  It’s been going around our city since late spring and finally hit our house in the last few weeks, but slowly everyone is on the mend.

What I’m Reading

Elin Hilderbrand – The Matchmaker &
InStyle Magazine

Yes, I’m still reading the same book!  It’s over 600 pages long but it’s still a good read and I’m slowly, but surely, getting to the end.

Also, just received the August edition of Instyle Magazine with Priyanka Chopra on the front cover.  Isn’t she gorgeous?  This has been a favourite mag of mine for years!

What I’m Watching

Legally Blonde

Did you know it’s the 15th anniversary of Legally Blonde?  This is one of my all time favourite movies.  I could (and have) watch it over and over.

What I’m Listening To

Chainsmokers ft. Daya – Don’t Let Me Down

I’ve officially named this my song of the summer!

I’ve been obsessing about growing my nails out for the last week or so.  I haven’t had long nails since Legally Blonde first came out.  It took me a few searches to figure out I want Almond-shaped nails so now I’m determined to grow them out.  I found this really great guide online outlining the different shapes.  Let’s hope I can be patient enough to grow them out, I’ve really been toying with the idea of falsies but I know how terrible they’ll make my real nails.

Summer BBQ and outdoor party season is in full swing.  Last summer I posted a delicious Potato Salad recipe that’s a big hit in my house.  Hopefully, you’ll like it as well.

Finally, I’m so excited to share that I did my first guest blog post this past week.  I know, what took me so long?  I got to share my oldest daughter’s birth story for Fit Foodie Momlife’s Birth Story series and I was delighted to be able to share our story.

Hope you have a great weekend!  As always, come say Hi on social media.  You can find me on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter.
