Happy Friday my friends! It’s been a very uneventful week over here, but sometimes that’s a good thing.  The most excitement we saw this week was a dumping of snow on Monday morning (not my favourite way to start the week off) and a new pair of unicorn pyjamas that sent one little girl to the moon (see my instagram for proof).

Our weekend will be busy with gymnastics and swimming lessons. This is also our last weekend before the house goes on the market, so the rest of the time will be spent scouring and getting all the little pretty things into place.

On the new home front, the foundation has been poured and basement window frames put into place.  I imagine it won’t be long til we see some framing.  As we really progress into all this excitement I’m going to get some posts together with a house tour of our current home in the staging process and a few posts about the buying and building process of our new house.  I’m also excited that I’ll have a new post up early next week detailing a typical weekly meal plan in our house.  Perfect for all the busy moms out there (aren’t all moms busy?)!  So keep an eye out for that and without further adieu here’s a look at what I’m into this past week.

What I’m Reading

Nothing

I’ve been lazy this week, but I’ve got a couple of great reads in the wings that just came off hold from the library so I’ll have more to share next week.

What I’m Listening To

The National – High Violet

Sometimes you just get a bit of nostalgia and want to listen to music you haven’t heard in a while.  Highly recommend this entire album, but I warn you I like the most depressing music so if you’re looking for something upbeat, this is not it!

What I’m Watching

Twilight, New Moon & Eclipse

Netflix just added a bunch of movies and I watched all 3 of these movies in 2 days and was up way too late one night.  It’s funny to re-watch them after so many years, I have a totally different perspective of them now.

From Around The Web

I’ve recently become a part of a couple of blogging communities and in joining them I’ve met some wonderful bloggers who are inspiring and entertaining and I’m learning so much through them.  Christina from The Whole Cook is one of these wonderful ladies and she just had this post published in The Huffington Post. It’s such a fun read, I hope you enjoy it too!

If you’re looking for some spring style inspiration, check out The Small Things Blog for her spring edits.  I’m definitely eyeing the flamingo T for myself.

On the beauty front, have you heard of microblading?  If you haven’t you need to check out Maskcara’s post all about it.  As someone who fills in their brows almost every day I find this process very intriguing.  In the meantime, these are the two products I rely on to get my brows on fleck (yup, totally just said that!).

I hope everyone has a very wonderful weekend! See you next week. In the meantime you can always catch up with me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Stop by and say Hi!
