Fridays Friday Faves

It’s that time again for my latest installment of #FlowersFridayFaves.  Yay!  2 weeks in a row of posts is a record for me at the moment.  The past few months have been hectic for us as we’ve been preparing to get our house ready for sale, but we’re almost there.  Between work, home, schlepping the kids to all their activities and all the extra work prepping the house, blogging has taken a backseat, so I apologize for my lack of consistency but trust me, it’s not due to lack of ideas.  I hope to get back into regular posts weekly.  I love sharing recipes, projects, tips and tricks and hope to get back to all that good stuff soon.

In the meantime, my Friday Faves post will continue to a regular feature and I love sharing what I’m into at the moment.

What I’m Reading

The Thing About Jellyfish by Ali Benjamin

I’ll be honest, I’m only reading this because Reese Witherspoon recommended it.  I’m still not done, but it seems to be picking up halfway through.

What I’m Listening To

Zayn – Pillowtalk

OBSESSED with this song right now!

What I’m Watching

Admittedly, we only ever watch Netflix, so if it’s not on there, I likely haven’t see it.  Having said that, this movie is hilarious.  The part with the scooter gets me every time!!!!!!!!!!!

From Around The Web

If you follow me on Facebook (You really should!), you may have seen this post on the dreaded Theme Day at school.  It was perfect timing in our house as we had one this past Wednesday and the theme was hockey.  Not a terrible theme, but we didn’t have anything hockey themed in our house so we had to borrow a jersey and it wasn’t our team of choice (we’re from Leafs Nation).

1-Theme Day

More often than not I go to bed with wet hair.  I just came across this post that makes me feel ok with doing it, even if my hair is a little wonky the next morning.

If you’re looking for some cooking inspiration for the weekend, you HAVE to try this Jambalaya recipe from Gimme Some Oven.  I made this about a month ago and I’m definitely itching to make it again.  It is the tastiest thing I’ve learned to make in a really long time.

I hope everyone has a very wonderful weekend!  See you next week.  In the meantime you can always catch up with me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.  Stop by and say Hi!
