Good Morning!  What is this?  A Saturday post? But, that’s almost sacrilegious in the blogging world!  Well my friends, it’s been a busy week and I didn’t want to rush to put out a post Friday morning, so here we are.

It’s been an exciting week over here, if you read my post last week you know that we’re super busy trying to prep our house to put on the market, and the best news is that they finally broke ground on the new house!!!!!!  Now the excitement begins, and those poor workers are probably going to be sick of our faces by the time this process is all over.  We took the girls over to see the site.  They loved seeing the “mountain” and the “cliff”.

We were also in one of the unlucky areas that got a good dumping of snow. SNOW! In April! Let’s hope this is the last one.  I’m so ready for sandal season.

What I’m Reading

Truly, Madly, Famously by Rebecca Serle

You’ll soon come to learn I have a penchant for YA novels.

What I’m Listening To

Lumineers – Ophelia

Nothing But Thieves – Trip Switch

Elle King – Under the Influence

Alessia Cara – Wild Things

What I’m Watching

Woah Andrea slow down there!  That’s not on Netflix!  It is not, but it is one of the few network shows I watch weekly and I love it!  I got into this show a little late but it’s one of my faves.  If you love suspense mixed with fairy tale, and a bit of gore sometimes, you’ll love this show!

From Around The Web

One of my first DIY posts was about the time I re-finished my dining room table.  It was a frustrating experience to be kind, but I’m glad I did it.  I was inspired to take on the project after seeing this table project from Centsational Girl.

We know I’m all about quick and tasty weeknight meals.  This American Ghoulash recipe is one of my have weeknight meals.  If you’re lucky enough to have kids that like veggies mixed into their meals it’s great to add some spinach to this one-pot wonder.  But, if you’re like me and some or all of your kids don’t like foods to touch (what’s up with that?), I tend to steam some broccoli as a side.

I currently have vacation on the brain.  With any luck, we’ll be booking one shortly, but in the meantime, here are some family friendly resorts for everyone to drool over.  You’re welcome!

And finally . . . .  if you are obsessed with Instagram like me you probably already know who Maskcara is.  If not, let me introduce you to my make-up guru.  I’ve completely changed how I do my morning make-up because of this tutorial.  The best part about this video is that she uses brands you can easily find in any drug store, so anyone can achieve this look and it’s super quick as part of a morning routine.

I hope everyone has a very wonderful weekend! See you next week. In the meantime you can always catch up with me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Stop by and say Hi!
