The Liebster Award is an honour given by fellow bloggers to new blogs that have been around for less than two years and have less than 1000 followers. It’s purpose is to connect new bloggers with other bloggers. It is such a great exercise in socializing with others in the blogging community and simply really fun to participate in. As you may (or may not) know, Flowers and Faux Pas is all about being inspired and inspiring others and being nominated for this is so touching and makes me feel like that message is getting out there.

Q: How many children do you have?
A: I have 2 girls. 4 and 2.5. Life is BUSY!!!!!!!!
Q: When did you start your blog?
A: I began my blog a year ago. In fact I think I had a blogiversary that I totally forgot about!
Q: What is your favourite movie?
A: Legally Blonde (what? like that was hard?)
Q: If you had to choose, would you rather live out of a private jet or a yacht?
A: Do I have to choose? I’m afraid of flying and I get seasick. But, if I have to choose I’ll go with plane because I do not like being nauseated (had enough of that pregnant).
Q: How did you come up with your blog name?
A: Love this question! If you know my girls’ names, that’s where the Flowers part comes from. The Faux Pas is because I’m not perfect, nor am I striving to be, I just want to continue to learn and grow for as long as I can, even if that means making mistakes.
Q: Which social media networks are you on?
A: Instagram, Facebook & Twitter (and that’s about all I can keep up with)
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: We have a black lab named Tyson and a cat named Ziggy
Q: What is your favorite Holiday?
A: Does my birthday count? Guess not. I’ll choose Christmas, not just for the one day, but because I love the entire season leading up to it.
Q: Do you prefer a night out or a night in?
A: Definitely a night in!
Q: What is your favorite memory from the past?
A: Undergrad graduation, getting married on the beach, the birth of our first daughter
