Happy Easter! We’re very excited for an extra long weekend. We’ll be busy finishing up the last of our painting projects, one of which included my basement a while back, enjoying some family time and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny!
Over here on Flower and Faux Pas I’ve decided to give something new a try and start a weekly favourites post. I’ve done a few posts on the music I’m listening to or books I’ve read, but I really find it hard to write an entire post on those things, so I thought this might be a great way to share all the things I’m into and then some.
What I’m Reading
Confessions: The Murder of an Angel by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro
If you’re looking for an easy, enjoyable read, this series is great!
What I’m Listening To
Spirits by The Strumbellas
We’re all singing this one in our house, even the kids.
What I’m Watching
House of Cards: Season 4
Those Underwoods are so EVIL!!
Given that today is Good Friday and many of us won’t be eating meat today, I thought I’d share one of my favourite, easy peasy shrimp recipes. The entire meal from start to finish should only take about 30 minutes, which is why I love cooking it!
If you’re looking for pretty things to look at and read, head over to A Balancing Peach. I love reading Kelsey’s blog and her pictures are to die for.
Speaking of pretty, if you’re into beautiful wallpapers and phone screensavers, I just downloaded this springtime one from Lily & Val! I’m always amazed at the beautiful things people are willing to share.
So my dear friends, I wish you a happy Friday and a very Happy Easter. Enjoy the weekend!
